Membership Criteria:

Open to all.....the Hanbury History Group was established in 2012 through The Hanbury Community Plan with initial financial support from the “big Lottery Fund”.

 Its objective is to provide a local venue for people with an interest in history to meet socially to discuss and review history based topics of mutual interest from the purely local to national and international.


Fees:
  • Annual membership fee -- £5 per year (part year fee -- £1/remaining meeting)
  • Meeting attendance fees to cover hire of hall/facilities plus refreshments
    • Members £1.50 each/meeting
    • Non-members £2.50 each/meeting
  • Additional charges for guest speakers and group away-visits will be notified separately.

Meetings:

Meetings can include presentations from both members and invited speakers plus general discussion.  Group visits to external sites and to presentations at other organisations are also arranged.

Meetings are held in Hanbury Village Hall from 7.30pm to 9.30 pm on the last Thursday of every other month as follows:

Please note Don Vincent will not be available for September's meeting as he has to go into hospital for an operation -- an alternative talk will be arranged asap.
