Hanbury Village Hall can be booked for children's parties, private parties, club meetings, social evenings , Wedding Receptions etc.

With effect from 1 September 2015 Hire Charges are:

£10 an hour before 6pm 

£10 an hour after 6pm.




The Village Hall Management Committee looks after the Village Hall on behalf of the Parish Council, and organises various social events throughout the year such as Quiz Nights, Harvest Auction, and the Annual Village Bonfire in November.  

The Committee works closely with other village groups and organisations striving to provide the best facilities and experiences possible in relation to Hanbury Village Hall.. 

It also runs a '200 Club' - a small lottery licensed by Wychavon District Council.  It is drawn monthly and raises money for improvements to, and equipment for, the Village Hall.


Committee Meetings are usually held on the second Wednesday of each Month in the Village Hall.

Charity Harvest Auction - Sat 30 September 2017.

  • a lively & most enjoyable auction of local & home made/grown produce of all description
  • all proceeds of the auction will be donated to charity
  • free entry
  • bar & food available
  • 7pm for 7.30pm start
  • last year £510 was raised, shared equally between Primrose Hospice & The Alzheimer's Society.
  • 200 Club to be drawn on the night


Village Bonfire & Fireworks Display

  • Sat 4 November - Recreation Ground opposite Village Hall
  • 6pm - Doors open
  • 6.30pm - Bonfire lit
  • 7pm - Firework display
  • Adults £5
  • Child enrance free.
  • Bar & food available

The 200 Club is well and truly alive and kicking!

What is the 200 Club?

  • a small lottery licensed/registered by Wychavon District Council
  • drawn monthly - 50% of monies given away in prize money
  • 50% towards further improvements to Village Hall
  • first drawn in July 2015

Can I still become a member?

  • yes - new members are welcome

Is it expensive & what happens to the money?

  • no - it is just £2 per month - collected annually in advance
  • in its first year, almost £1500 was raised & contributed to the cost of our new toilets - over £1500 was awarded in prize money.
  • in its second year (ending June 2017), £1800 was raised, which has assisted in the purchase of new tables for the Village Hll, and has contributed towards the cost of the new stage. 
  • and £1800 was awarded in prize money
