Membership Criteria:

Anyone who would like a community walk with an unaffiliated group, the walks are led by local Hanbury volunteers. Dogs and children are welcome, the former on a lead and under control as we often walk though fields with livestock in, and occasionally along country lanes. If more strenuous exercise is required there are 2 local groups affiliated to The Ramblers in the area, (Bromsgrove Ramblers and Redditch Ramblers).. Both these two have a more comprehensive itinery of walks but there is a yearly joining fee and dogs are not allowed on the walks.

Fees:

At the moment Hanbury Ramblers have no fees, but money might be required for refreshments if we stop on route.

Overview:

The aim of the group is to enjoy a sociable, healthy and active walk around the local area, with most walks being between 4 and 5 miles, exploring the local footpaths, byways and countryside.Due to parking difficulties, most of our walks start and finish at one of the local inns, where once the exercise has been undertaken, light refreshments can be consumed and stories swapped between friends and neighbours.

Meetings:

We have no set days or times for meetings but try to make our walks as interesting and varied as possible.
